No staging, no poses – just the beauty of every day life.
I want to capture your family as it is. I am not going to ask you to do different poses for 1,5 hour, I am going to just be there when you hang out and have a nice time. And even though I am there, yet, I am on the outside, capturing what you do and how you enjoy spending time together.
For me, the whole point of doing family photography, is to capture the everyday magic and what makes your family unique. What do you like to do together? How do you hug? How do you look at eachother in your family? Who does what? What is your home like at this stage of your life?
It is how you relate to eachother and how you express yourselves that is interesting. There will be no fake smiles, but real connections. The pictures I deliver will tell the story about your family. I want to capture the small talks you share during snack time, the looks you give eachother over something fun the kids did, how you hold hands, how the kids laugh when you tickle them and how they relax close to you when you read to them.
Because no matter how fancy holidays we go to, it is the everyday life that is the life that we live and that we create together, every day. The result of loving actions and decisions made together. Small hands that want to hold big ones. Fingers tickling, small feet climbing.

So how does it work?
I will come home to you and we do the session in your home, or maybe on the beach or somewhere else depending on what you choose to do together. About two weeks after the shooting you will get a link to your private web gallery where you can download all your pictures. Then feel free to print and share!
I always ask the families that hire me to think of something to do during the shoot that they would normally do during a day off together. This will assure that you get pictures of what is really you, and it makes each session different. I have been documenting families baking together, doing gardening, eating lunch, having a beach day, beach picnic or playing in the pool in the garden. What do you do together on a day off?

I stay with your family for one whole day, about 8 hours from weekend breakfast to goodnight story to capture all the unique moments in your family, the magic of everyday life – brushing teeth, helping each other out, playing together, cooking together, outdoor activities, you name it…
